At Fir Ends we are keen that all pupils have an opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument.

From September all pupils will learn to play glockenspiel (from Year 1) and recorder (in KS2).

For those who would like to take their learning further, we have two peripatetic music teachers who can teach them to play keyboard & guitar (Mr Draper on Thursday mornings) and woodwind & brass (Mr Hemingway on Tuesday mornings).

Both teachers have capacity for more students from September.
