Opportunity to upskill yourself to keep up with your child(ren)
We have today confirmed delivery of one of Cumbria Adult Learning's parent sessions.
Over a five week course, Janette will teach parents about the demands of the Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar curriculum for KS1 pupils and show you ways that parents can help children to overcome these at home.
Sessions will run on Monday afternoons at school. Initial input will be for adults only, and will usually end with a shared activity with your child(ren) at the end of the school day.
These sessions will be aimed at KS1 parents but will also benefit parents of Year 3 pupils, as they missed many opportunities to learn key skills last year!
Funded wraparound care will be available to enable attendance.

Future courses are planned which will include 'Hearing Readers' and 'I can do it - developing resilience'
